The Staff Selection Commission, SSC, has released the official recruitment notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination today, June 24.

Age eligibility:

It is indicated that candidates who are to take positions that restrict their age to must be aged between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2006.

In the event of jobs with an age allowance of 20-30 years, the candidate must have his/her date of birth within 2nd August 1994 to 1st August 2004.

For the positions that are available for applicants below the age of 30 years, one must be having a birthday on or after August 2, 1994, and must be below the age of 30, which would mean having a birthday before August 1, 2006.

Therefore, for positions with age limit of 18-32 years, a candidate must not exceed the date of birth of August 1, 2006 or be younger than August 2, 1992.

Age relaxations:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Its PwBD (Unreserved):- 10 years.
PwBD (OBC): 13 years.
PwBD (SC/ST) is 15 years.

Notably, through the examination, the commission aims to fill tentatively 17727 vacancies. The commission will decide the final number. They will decide the number of vacancies. They will do so later.

Selection process

The CBE has two parts. It will choose candidates. Then, there will be a document check. The notification mentions the computer exam scheme. It also mentions it’s syllabus.

The user departments will verify the documents. After declaring the final results, they’ll do this. Its said so.

The minimum qualifying marks in the examination are 30 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 20 per cent for all other categories. The maximum percentage of errors allowed (minimum qualifying standards) are 20 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 30 per cent for all other categories.

SSC CGL Notification 2024:

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC,CGL Recruitment Notification on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 from June 24 to July 24. However, the last date to pay application fee is 25th July. The window for application correction will remain open on 10 and 11 August.

As mentioned in the notification, the organization has 17727 posts to fill. A SSC, CGL is a national-level exam. It held to recruit candidates for group b and c posts. These include roles. For example, Assistant Audit Officer and Inspector.

The SSC CGL Notification 2024 PDF is out. It lists 17727 vacancies. You can find it on the official website at ssc.gov.in.Graduates falling within the age limit of 18 to 32 years can submit their application forms till 24 July. because of the deadline for paying application fee is 25 July. Selection of candidates will be based on their aggregate performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 will be qualifying in nature.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay a ₹100 fee. But, women and some others are exempt. This includes SC and ST. It also includes people with benchmark disabilities. It also includes Exservicemen (ESM)
